While I love Maine, the surprise April 1 snowstorm has me delighted to be in sunny Florida! I was really hoping that when I go home on Thursday that the ground would be close to bare, since we still had close to two feet on the ground when I left two weeks ago. Since there has been two snowstorms since, that dream is dead.

It's not uncommon to see a little snow fall in April, but I guess this storm was a doozie.(Doozie might be a Maine word, but I'm not too sure.)  I know Jim had put the shovel away before we left, but since he went home today, I'm guessing he's on the business end of it today clearing the walkway. I'm trying to feel bad about it but I'm not having much luck.  It's too nice here in Miami to give it much thought, actually.
